Sakurajima is a rare region in the world where volcanoes and human habitation coexist. This program combines a 30-minute guided tour of Sakurajima's volcanic activity with an experience of digging for camellia oil, a crop suited to volcanic environments. You can extract your own organic camellia oil and take it home as a souvenir.
