Sakurajima
We start the morning by taking a ferry to Sakurajima, a beautiful volcanic island just 20 minutes from bustling Kagoshima City. We head to the beach and, as it's still a little early for a swim, dip our toes or just throw some floating rocks into the sea. We then continue by dipping our feet in the hot spring foot bath, which offers views of the bay and a little cover in case the sun gets too much or it rains a little. The natural waters are soothing to the feet, and some claim the health benefits of natural hot springs!
