"SHIKISHI-ART Horse" is an art workshop where participants draw horses on traditional Japanese shikishi paper using Sakurajima's volcanic ash. Shikishi is a special paper that has long been used in Japan for calligraphy, poetry, and gift-giving. This workshop offers a unique experience, even on a global scale, of drawing a picture on the paper using Sakurajima's volcanic ash, which is still emitting smoke.
