This sake barrel craft is made from a 2000-year-old Yakusugi cedar tree.
Buried wood refers to Yakusugi cedar trees that were cut down during the Edo period and continue to grow even after being cut down.
We have intentionally left the natural shape as it is so that you can experience its history.
They are more difficult to work than round barrels, making them more valuable than other sake barrels.
If you put alcohol in it and let it sit, it will turn amber and have a very mellow taste.
Material: Domestic natural Yakusugi cedar
