[Golden sparkle dwelling in jet black. "Chotaro Ware Couple Teacups" infused with the soul of Satsuma]
Chotaro ware is a powerful yet beautiful traditional craft nurtured by the land of Kagoshima. Its greatest attraction is the secret technique of "Tama Nagashi," in which golden glaze dances dynamically on a jet-black glaze. The white glaze made from straw ash melts in the high-temperature flame, creating a unique, one-of-a-kind scene on each piece of pottery.
The dignified appearance of this piece evokes the techniques honed over the long history of Satsuma ware and the climate of Ibusuki and Kagoshima. The warmth that fits comfortably in your hand will transform your everyday tea time into a moment of bliss.
[Traditional masterpiece] Ibusuki Chotaro ware couple's teacups (ball-shaped)
